meet melanie!

Melanie served in the Minnesota Army National Guard for 26 years, 21 of those years were full-time in the Active Guard and Reserve. She deployed to Bosnia and Kuwait, and spent a majority of her military career in the Recruiting Command or in Public Affairs, reaching the enlisted rank of Sgt. First Class, and retiring as a Major. Today she is the Public Affairs Officer for the Minneapolis VA Health Care System. She has a Masters Degree in Strategic Communications from Concordia University. She is excited to have grown children so she and her husband can relive what life was like, just the two of them, in their 20's.
